2 Corinthians 12:9: “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”

The world values strength and self-reliance, but God’s Kingdom operates differently. Paul’s “thorn in the flesh” was a constant struggle, yet God did not remove it. Instead, He reminded Paul that His grace was enough and that His power shines brightest in human weakness.
This truth transforms how we view our limitations. Instead of seeing weakness as failure, we can see it as an invitation for God to work in us. When we are weak, we depend on His strength, and His grace sustains us.
Our most difficult struggles—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—are opportunities for God’s power to be displayed. The moments when we feel most incapable are often where His grace carries us and His presence becomes undeniable.
God doesn’t call us to be strong on our own. He calls us to bring our weaknesses to Him and trust that His power will fill the gap. Let your weaknesses be a place where His glory is revealed.

This week, write down an area of your life where you feel weak or insufficient. Commit it to God in prayer and ask Him to show His strength in that situation. Watch for His power at work, and don’t forget to thank Him for His grace!
Prayer
Loving Father, I thank You for the gift of Your grace. I confess that I often try to rely on my own strength, but today I surrender my weaknesses to You. Teach me to trust in Your power, knowing that You work best when I step aside and let You move. May Your strength be magnified in my life and may my weaknesses point others to Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
