When we believe in Jesus, something very special happens. We become a new creation. That means we get a fresh start with God. Our old, wrong ways are gone, and God helps us live in a new way that makes Him happy.
Imagine a butterfly. Before it flies, it is a little caterpillar. The caterpillar cannot fly and just crawls on the ground. But one day, it changes into something new—a beautiful butterfly that can fly high in the sky! That is like us. Before we knew Jesus, we did things our own way. But when we follow Him, He changes us. He gives us new hearts that want to do what is right.
Being a new creation means we don’t have to be stuck in bad habits or sad feelings. Jesus gives us hope and joy. Even when we make mistakes, He forgives us and helps us try again. We are not the same as we were before. We are God’s children now!
So, let’s live like new people. Let’s be kind, tell the truth, and show love to others. We don’t need to go back to our old ways. Jesus is making us better each day.

Dear Jesus, thank You for making me a new creation. Help me to leave behind the old ways and live like You want me to. Fill my heart with love and joy every day. Amen.
